The Dominican producer Diogenes Lluberes was fired from Imagen Television seven months after taking over as director of Entertainment. The announcement of his arrival, made on April 3, generated expectations about the content he would bring to the television network; however, his contributions to the morning show 'Sale el sol' and the entertainment programming did not manage to stand out.
Journalist Alejandro Zuñiga shared the news via his social media on Friday, November 15, revealing that both Lluberes and his team were dismissed from Imagen TV. Although no details were provided about the reasons behind the dismissal, it is indicated that the changes implemented by the producer failed to improve the morning show's audience, despite Ingrid Coronado's inclusion in the programming.
Although Diogenes Lluberes has not made public statements regarding this, his recent posts on social media about the Miss Universe event, associated with TV Azteca and not Imagen Television, have generated comments. His departure from the morning show coincided with low audience levels, considered the worst in years.
On the other hand, Álex Kaffie reported earlier in November on his YouTube channel about rumors concerning Lluberes' dismissal scheduled for December. Kaffie anticipated that he would provide details about the situation in a YouTube broadcast scheduled for Saturday, thus offering an additional perspective on the dismissal of the former director of 'Sale el sol'.
